HVS, the leading global hospitality consulting and hotel appraisal firm, recently published the mid-year, 2007 Major and Mid-Market U.S. Hotel Transaction Surveys. These surveys include sales that have occurred from January through June of 2007. The Mid-Year U.S. Mid-Market Hotel Transactions Survey covers sales in the price range of $3.0 to $9.99 million, while the Mid-Year U.S. Major Hotel Transaction survey covers sales in the price range of $10 million and above. Each survey contains data complied by HVS and includes hotel name, city, state, room count, month of sale, sales price, and buyer and/or seller information for each transaction.

HVS has tracked a total of 92 mid-market and 155 major transactions during the first two quarters of 2007. Information within The 2007 Mid-Year U.S. Transaction Surveys was generated from the database, which was developed by HVS to maintain hotel information, sales transactions, market studies, and company research pertaining to the hospitality industry.
