Denver Convention Center Demand Analysis for New Headquarters Hotel

HVS CSE completed a demand projection for the expanded Colorado Convention Center given the anticipated development of a new headquarters hotel.
HVS CSE completed a convention center demand analysis for the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The purpose of this analysis was to measure the demand for the expanded Colorado Convention Center assuming that a proposed 1,100 room Marriott headquarters hotel is developed. The convention center expansion is underway and expected to open December 6, 2004. The target date for the opening of the hotel is January 1, 2006. The demand projections for the expanded convention center became part of the demand analysis for the headquarters hotel and were included in the offering statement for this new property. HVS CSE also developed an economic impact model to measure the amount of additional tax revenue this project would generate for the City.
