Jamaica, Queens NYC Hotel Conference Center Feasibility Study

HVS CSE recently completed a feasibility study for a hotel conference center in downtown Jamaica, Queens.
HVS CSE recently competed a feasibility analysis of a new hotel conference center in Jamaica, Queens (New York City), for the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation. The analysis revealed that a hotel conference center that could access demand from the new AirTrain transit service between downtown Jamaica and JFK Airport and also serve local corporate and civic demand could be successful. Working with HVS International’s New York office, HVS CSE developed a facility recommendation and demand projections for a conference center to be located above the Jamaica Station Air Train Terminal. The facility recommendation calls for 10,000 square feet of flexible conference space and 250 hotel rooms in a full-service property. HVS is now assisting Greater Jamaica Development Corporation with a preliminary financing plan for the proposed facility.
