HVS Shanghai has recently released IN FOCUS: Shanghai’s Boutique Hotel Scene. As travellers’ expectations are becoming more varied, the upscale hotel market witnesses the growth of niche segments. The research illustrates that being ‘boutique’ has multi-dimensional attributes; Ranging from deep historical roots to distinguished hardware, or from prime-A location to chic design, there are numerous ways that a boutique hotel can set itself apart.”
