HVS Hotel Management now has the ability to provide receivership services in New York State in addition to its services already in place in most other states. New York is one of few states which require testing before being listed in the state’s Guardian and Fiduciary Services eligibility list.

Receivership generally costs no more than regular management fees except when another operator is in place and overseen by the Receiver. Even in that case, the fees are typically less than those of CPA firms or attorneys acting as the Receiver.
