Hotel Valuation Seminar: Tools & Techniques for Real Estate Professionals

SEMINAR DESCRIPTION
HVS and the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management are pleased to present a complimentary two-day seminar that provides the tools, software and knowledge needed to value hotels and properly analyze lodging market dynamics.

Day 1 of the seminar will focus on appraisal theory and the various approaches to value real estate. Day 2 will focus on how to use the Hotel Valuation Software to forecast hotel occupancy, room rate, income and expense, and value.

The Hotel Valuation Software, along with a demonstration hotel market study and valuation, a handbook on hotel investments, and numerous research studies and articles will be included in each participant’s take-home package.

SEMINAR EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Students will need to bring their own Microsoft Windows based personal computer containing a USB port and a charger. Class materials, software, and the complete PowerPoint presentation will be loaded on a USB flash drive and given to each student at the opening of the seminar.
