Queensgate acquires four Grange Hotels in London 

London-based investment manager Queensgate Investments has completed the acquisition of four Grange hotels in London from the Matharu brothers, the owners of one of London’s largest privately-owned hotel groups, for around £1 billion (£750,000 per room). The transacted properties include the 307-room Grange City Hotel, the 201-room Grange Holborn Hotel, the 460-room Grange St. Paul’s Hotel and the 370-room Grange Tower Bridge Hotel. Queensgate has appointed Fattal Hotel Group as operator, and will refurbish and reposition the properties under Fattal’s Leonardo Royal and NYX brands.

Invesco sells the Holiday Inn Express Sloterdijk in Amsterdam to M&G 

M&G Real Estate, a London based real estate investment arm of Prudential, has acquired the 254-room Holiday Inn Express Sloterdijk in Amsterdam from Invesco, on behalf of one of its European separate account mandates, for €42.8 million (€168,000 per room). The property, operated under a long-term lease to The Vincent Hotel Group, represents the 11th acquisition of M&G’s European Secured Property Income Fund, a fund providing income returns in line with inflation to pension funds.

Art-Invest acquires the Bonn Marriott Hotel, Germany 

The 336-room Bonn Marriott Hotel, located 30 kilometres south of Cologne, was acquired by German investment manager Art-Invest Real Estate in a sale-and-lease-back transaction from Bonn-based developer group DevelopVisio Real Estate. The hotel, directly connected to the World Conference Center Bonn, will join Art-Invest’s Hotel-Manage to Core-Fund.
