Aaron Solaimani, an HVS Director based in Seattle, thrives on engagement -- with the client, the fieldwork, and the figures that lead to effective consulting and thoroughly supported hotel valuations or feasibility studies. Aaron has been involved with hundreds of assignments across the U.S., with the bulk of his assignments located in the gateway markets along the West Coast. Clients engage Aaron for some of the firm's most high-profile and complex assignments, many of which are mixed-use projects anchored by hospitality assets that include residential and retail components. His experience includes luxury resort-residential developments in California, Washington, and Idaho; a myriad of proposed hotels throughout Seattle, Southern California, Hawaii, and the San Francisco Bay Area; and projects in international destination resort markets such as Mexico and Fiji.
Aaron's extensive experience and network of industry professionals allow him to deliver authoritative conclusions individual hospitality properties and portfolios alike, from single assets on the West Coast to portfolios nationwide.
Prior to joining HVS, Aaron was part of the finance team at Starwood Hotels & Resorts where he specialized in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and market analyses. He worked in hotel operations at various San Francisco Bay Area hotels, as well as at the Westin Bellevue, located in a suburb of Seattle. Aaron received his BA from the School of Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University. He is also a state-certified general appraiser in both Washington and California.
