As a hotelier or investor, you want a hotel analyst to be serious, communicative, hardworking—but never overwhelming. Jeff Pennington, Senior Project Manager with HVS St. Louis, unravels the complexities of fieldwork, site inspections, analysis of competitors, and market dynamics to deliver results that are clear, concise, and conclusive. When questions arise, Jeff finds answers. This exhaustive approach yields a report on your hotel’s value or feasibility that you can readily understand and put to use.
Jeff’s past in-house hotel experience includes operations work and management training at the full-service Hotel Dann Carlton in Barranquilla, Colombia. He has also worked at the ResortQuest Waterscape Resort in Fort Walton Beach, the Governors Inn Hotel and the Hampton Inn in Tallahassee, and the Orlando Hotel in Los Angeles. Jeff graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Hospitality Administration and Real Estate and maintained memberships with the Florida Lodging Association and Florida Restaurant Association while in school. He also earned a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Jeff began traveling around the U.S. and the world while young, and these early explorations bred a love of places far and wide. He studied abroad in Switzerland, worked in South America, and continues to take yearly retreats with friends and family. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Jeff’s devotion to Seminole football runs deep.
