Market Pulse: Annapolis, Maryland

Average rates are up and supply growth is flat in Annapolis, which bodes well for the city’s overall hotel performance picture. Have local hoteliers been able to reach a better balance between leisure, commercial, government, and group demand?
Chelsey Leffet, an HVS Vice President and head of our satellite office in Washington, D.C., has worked with HVS Philadelphia for years, appraising hundreds of hotels throughout the Mid-Atlantic, including in major Beltway markets such as Alexandria, Arlington, and Bethesda. Prior to joining HVS, Chelsey worked in guest services, operations, and restaurant roles at ARAMARK Higher Education; Lighthouse Resort Services in Corolla, North Carolina; the Columbus Inn in Wilmington, Delaware; and the Bellmoor Inn and Spa in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Chelsey earned her BS in Hospitality Management and her Master’s of Business Administration from East Carolina University. Chelsey resides in Washington, D.C.
