HVS Brokerage & Advisory announces the sale of the 80-key Hampton Inn by Hilton Opelousas, located in Opelousas, Louisiana.
HOUSTON, TX, April 6, 2026: HVS Brokerage & Advisory announces the sale of the 80-key Hampton Inn by Hilton Opelousas, located at 1700 Commerce Boulevard, Opelousas, Louisiana 70570.
 
The property, built in 2018, was purchased by San Eloy, LLC, based in Los Angeles, California, from Opelousas Hotel Group, LLC, based in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

The property is ideally located along Interstate 49, offering convenient frontage road access with strong visibility along this key interstate that connects Lafayette and Shreveport. As the parish seat and regional hub of St. Landry Parish, Opelousas benefits from a diverse economic base bolstered by healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, and energy-related industries. The parish supports oilfield services, pipeline maintenance, and industrial construction contractors who often require extended hotel stays. The presence of Acadiana Railway and a major Walmart Distribution Center facilitates freight movement and attracts consistent lodging demand from logistics staff, truckers, and visiting corporate teams. Other major demand drivers include Opelousas General Health System, Tony Chachere’s Creole Foods, Ventura Foods, and Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino.
