Before joining HVS, Parris worked at the New York State Division of Tourism and in restaurant roles on Long Island. He formerly worked at the Chaconia Inn and the Hilton International hotels in Trinidad and Tobago. Parris earned a BS in Hospitality Management from New York City Technical College (NYCTC) and an MS in Tourism Management from New York University (NYU). His many accolades include recognition as an NYU Investment Conference Patron Scholar and NYCTC Distinguished Alumnus of the Year.
Outside of work, Parris revels in time with his wife and three kids. He also plays positions as defender, midfielder, and forward in a recreational soccer league in South Brunswick, New Jersey, with local players hailing from all over the world.
