Fernanda leads HVS's activity across South America in coordination with the company’s Mexico-based LATAM team. This allows her to leverage the experience gained in completing over 200 assignments in the region with the breadth and depth of capabilities offered by HVS in the region.
Fernanda has experience in the preparation of market and feasibility studies and appraisals for a wide variety of assets in urban and resort areas alike, ranging from economy to luxury lodging projects. In addition, she provides hotel development consulting for complex master plans that include different types of hotels, branded and non-branded residences, various amenities, and/or retail space, office space, and other real estate components. She equally participates in the formulation of strategic studies for investors and hotel chains looking to expand in the region.
With her nearly 15-year tenure in the hotel industry, Fernanda has been instrumental in leading the growth of the firm in South America. She is a recognized and collaborative advisor, as well as a valuable resource for market participants in South America's lodging industry. She combines a deep understanding of regional hotel markets with strong analytical thinking to provide a wide variety of clients with comprehensive market data and tailor-made solutions. She is client-focused and proactive in communication and enjoys ongoing exchanges with developers, investors, hotel chain representatives, bank representatives, and others.
Fernanda has in-depth knowledge of the tourism, hospitality, and related real estate markets in South America. She has unique access to regional market intelligence, as well as market-specific insights, which enables her to offer clients unmatched hospitality advisory services.
Fernanda obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and her MBA from the Universidad del CEMA. She regularly participates in regional events and conferences and prepares articles on market dynamics across South America, as well as other topics of interest.
